I'm N, the owner of Silverado Little Buddies Dayhome. My approach to childcare is shaped by over 20 years of experience and my ongoing education in early childhood development. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.

I believe children learn best when they feel secure, comfortable, and connected to the people and environment around them. I welcome all families and strive to create a space where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and where differences are respected and celebrated.

My program is guided by Alberta’s Flight: Early Learning and Care Framework, which supports play-based, child-led learning. I create opportunities for children to explore, be creative, and learn through meaningful interactions, helping them build confidence, independence, and strong social skills.

I also incorporate Indigenous ways of learning in an age-appropriate and respectful way. This includes storytelling, learning through nature, and building an understanding of community, relationships, and respect for the land. These experiences help children develop a deeper connection to the world around them and a sense of responsibility and belonging.

I take time to observe each child’s interests, strengths, and development on a regular basis. This helps me plan activities that are responsive to their individual needs and supports their growth at their own pace.

Health, safety, and emotional well-being are always my top priorities. My goal is to support each child’s overall development in a warm and caring environment where they can grow with confidence, build important life skills, and enjoy learning every day.
